APPROACH
Civic Partners was founded by Natalia Rudiak, a former politico, management consultant, and non-profit manager. Knowing that change moves at the speed of trust, Natalia leverages her lived experience across class and geography to build empathetic, trusting relationships to lift up the genius of every individual, within organizations and in the field.

As a policymaker, she was frustrated by consultants who parachuted in and out of communities, producing flashy materials peppered with buzzwords and jargon but did not engender real systemic change. It was clear that targeted help was still needed to achieve smart policy goals. From this experience, Natalia sought to co-create plans and co-realize results across geographies and localities where people play, work, and live.
FOUNDER
Natalia's experience spans the fields of sustainability, education, public finance, and public health. Prior to founding Civic Partners, Natalia served two terms as an elected city legislator, steering complex social and regulatory dynamics and directing policy and partnership development in the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. You can read more about Natalia’s good work here. Most of all, throughout her career, she has cultivated rich relationships with people from all walks of life, restoring collective trust in the public good.

Natalia has also worked as a consultant at Deloitte and with non-governmental organizations in West Africa and Southeast Asia. She earned her M.S. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University and her B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Growing up in a working-class Polish immigrant household, she holds U.S. and E.U. citizenship. She’s also an avid lover of stand-up comedy, where she can actually be funny on purpose.
